Comments: | Introduced in the mid-1980s (Ref. 36771). Reported to have been introduced in 1990 (Ref. 12204). This species, collected in the St. Clair River, was likely introduced via ballast water discharged from ocean-going vessels (National Report to ICES, 1994). Poses a threat to continued successful lake trout reproduction. Have competed for space and food of commecial stocks (Ref. 36771). Also Ref. 13364 and 13751. Ref: Chotkowski, M. and J.E.
